Game:      Lord of All Dragons Royale

 

Design (what I set out to do):  

I wanted to make a fighting game with dragons from different universes. I wanted different commands for the dragons to do different attacks. I wanted to create a game with a mix of Street Fighter and Punch Out, but with dragons instead of humans. The things that I did was work on the tutorial level for beginners and the attacks (dragon specific attacks by the way)  for the dragons.

  • Arrow keys control how the dragon moves up-down & right
  • Space bar allows for special attacks
  • T,C,B,P,S,G,O buttons control the different abilities the dragon can do.

What Didn't Get Done:  

I didn’t add the career mode it would have been a story mode in the game.

I wanted to add more attacks and dragons to the career mode

 

I was trying to make a two player mode and player 2’s controls but that would take a while to do.  If it had 2 player mode the dragons would have equal abilities making it more fair.

Biggest Challenge:  

To get the characters to do their different attacks.

 

To get the computer CPU’s to do random attacks.


To get the blocking system to work for example taking an attack without or with little damage.

What's Next:

Start working on the career mode so it will play out like a story mode.
